Travetine Falls and teacups
Description
Yet another Mexican whitewater playground. Warm water, forgiving travertine rapids and big, but runable, waterfalls. In all El Salto has, perhaps, 30 small travertine rapids and falls.
In all El Salto has, perhaps, 30 small travertine rapids and falls. The biggest are perfect bookends; one just after the start and another just before the end. Not the giant 80 foot El Meco at the take-out, but a small 15 footer just a few falls upstream. Its biggest drawbacks are that it's too short and the rapids lack complexity.
